RULE ONE NUXTRE

SuperMod Rex (self-appointed) on patrol in #lobby, in the navy and silver of his 2001 moderator's page. The room scrolls; Rule 1 is No key trafficking. A key is five capital letters that make no word — burn every one before it scrolls away. Rex enforces exactly one rule of 88: shouting, rudeness and a citizen's CAPS are outside his jurisdiction, and a punt for any of them is an overreach. From the third shift, whispers (Rule 9: he doesn't read whispers); from the fifth, staff (they outrank him); from the seventh, q. (he has never caught q.). Three overreaches and the application to staff stays PENDING; six keys away and the krew has the night. Eight shifts, 22:00 to 04:00 (Rule 88).
