About
Foxit PDF Reader is a free PDF viewer from Foxit Software and a long-standing alternative to Adobe's reader. It opens documents in tabs and offers reading options such as reflow and side-by-side views, plus annotation tools for highlights, sticky notes, drawings, stamps and measurements. Users can fill in interactive and flat forms, add ink or certificate-based digital signatures, take part in shared reviews and connect cloud storage services. An AI Assistant that can chat about, summarise, translate or read documents aloud is offered in some regions and uses a credit system. Foxit also sells Foxit PDF Editor for full editing and conversion, and its website promotes that trial alongside the free reader. The desktop reader runs on Windows and macOS; on phones and tablets, Foxit's free app is published as Foxit PDF Editor.
