About
IrfanView is a compact image viewer and converter for Windows, written by Irfan Skiljan and developed since 1996. It opens a very wide range of image formats, with more added through an optional plugin pack, and is known for its small size and quick start-up. Beyond viewing, it offers cropping, resizing, colour correction, effects, lossless JPEG rotation and cropping, multipage TIFF editing, scanning, printing and screen capture. Its batch tool converts, renames and processes large numbers of files in one pass, and slideshows can be exported as videos, screensavers or self-running programs. The interface is plain but configurable through hotkeys, toolbar skins and a dark mode. IrfanView is free for private, non-commercial use, while businesses need a paid licence. 32-bit, 64-bit and ARM64 builds are offered.
