About
Greenshot is a lightweight, open-source screenshot tool for Windows developed by Thomas Braun, Jens Klingen and Robin Krom. Pressing Print Screen or another configured hotkey captures a selected region, a window or the full screen, and the last region can be captured again with one key. The built-in editor adds shapes, arrows, freehand lines, text and highlights, and can blur or pixelate sensitive details before an image is shared. After each capture a destination menu sends the picture to the clipboard, a file, a printer, an email message or Microsoft Office applications, and plugins add destinations such as Imgur, Dropbox and Jira. It is designed for quick, annotated screenshots in documentation, tutorials and support work. A separate macOS version is sold on the Mac App Store and is not open source.
