About
OpenTTD is a free, open-source game modelled on Transport Tycoon Deluxe: you run a transport company, laying railways and roads, connecting towns and industries, and trying to turn a profit as the years roll on. It has grown far beyond the original, with bigger maps, online multiplayer and a large library of free add-on content you can download from inside the game. It's deep, calm and very easy to lose an evening to. (It also makes a perfect practice target for Cheat Engine: your bank balance is a single number in memory.)
