About
BlueStacks is an Android emulator, or 'app player', that runs mobile games and apps on a desktop computer. It is aimed mainly at people who want to play phone games on a larger screen with a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad. Games are installed through the Google Play Store, and a keymapping editor lets you assign on-screen taps and gestures to keys. A multi-instance manager can run several Android sessions at once, and macros and an eco mode help with repetitive or idle games. On Windows several Android versions are offered, including Android 11 and a beta based on Android 13, while BlueStacks Air is a separate edition for Apple silicon Macs. The core app is free and supported by ads.
