About

AIMP is a free audio player developed by Artem Izmaylov since 2006. On Windows it combines playback with utilities that other players leave to plug-ins: a multi-threaded audio converter with CD ripping, a batch tag editor, an internet radio player that can record streams, and a scheduler that can fade out, stop playback or shut down the PC. Sound options include a 20-band equalizer, effects such as reverb and pitch or tempo control, ReplayGain normalisation, crossfading and output through WASAPI or ASIO. It handles common lossy and lossless formats, CUE sheets and tracker modules, and its look can be changed with skins that scale to 4K displays. A music library with smart playlists and Last.fm scrobbling is included. Android and Linux versions are also offered.

  • 20-band equalizer and sound effects
  • Multi-threaded audio converter with CD ripping
  • Batch tag editor
  • Internet radio with stream recording
  • Scheduler for alarms, sleep timer and shutdown

Before you download

  • The stable Linux package runs the Windows build through Wine (version 8 or newer); a native Linux build is in beta.
