About
WinUtil is a free utility from the YouTuber Chris Titus that bundles the jobs people do after installing Windows into one window: tick the programs you want and it installs them through Windows' own package manager; choose from a list of privacy and performance tweaks; repair Windows Update; or switch features on and off. You start it with a one-line command in an administrator PowerShell window, and it runs without installing itself. It is powerful, so read what each tweak does — the 'standard' presets are the safe starting point.
- Installs many apps at once via winget
- Privacy and performance tweaks with presets
- Windows Update repair and settings
- Toggles for Windows features
- Nothing to install: runs from one command
Before you download
- Launch it only with the command published on its official GitHub page.
- Some tweaks are aggressive; stick to the presets if you're unsure, and make a restore point.
