About
Microsoft PowerToys is a free, open-source collection of small utilities that extend Windows 10 and 11 for power users. Each tool can be switched on or off from one settings app. FancyZones snaps windows into custom layouts, Command Palette is a keyboard-driven launcher for apps, files and commands, and PowerRename renames many files at once using search-and-replace rules. Text Extractor copies text from anything on screen, Color Picker grabs colours in several formats, and Keyboard Manager remaps keys and shortcuts. Other modules include Always On Top, Peek for quick file previews, Image Resizer, Advanced Paste and the ZoomIt presentation tool. The project is developed in the open on GitHub, accepts community contributions and is updated frequently.
