About
X-VPN is a commercial VPN service from a Singapore-based company that has offered a free tier since 2017. The free version can be used without creating an account and has no data cap, but it offers fewer locations, picks a server automatically on desktop rather than letting you choose, and allows one device at a time. The premium subscription adds more than 250 locations, manual server selection, servers intended for streaming and up to five devices at once. Besides apps for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, X-VPN provides a Chrome extension, apps for Android TV, Apple TV and Fire TV, router setups, and a command-line client for Linux. It suits users who want a quick VPN for occasional use without registering.
