About
WinSCP is an open-source file transfer client for Windows, developed by Martin Přikryl, that connects to servers over SFTP, SCP, FTP and FTPS, WebDAV and Amazon S3. You can choose between two layouts: a two-panel Commander view in the style of classic file managers, or an Explorer-like view that resembles the Windows file browser. It includes an integrated text editor and tools for comparing and synchronising folders, and it can keep a remote folder updated with local changes while you work. Saved sessions can be opened in PuTTY when a terminal is needed. For automation, WinSCP provides command-line scripting and a .NET assembly, which makes it popular with system administrators who move files on a schedule. A portable version runs without installation.
