About
qBittorrent is a free, open-source BitTorrent client written in C++ with the Qt toolkit and the libtorrent library. The project set out to offer an open-source alternative to µTorrent, and it shows no advertising. Its feature set covers an integrated, extensible torrent search engine, an RSS downloader with regular-expression filters, sequential downloading for previewing media, torrent creation, IP filtering, UPnP and NAT-PMP port forwarding, and IPv6. A built-in web interface allows remote control from any browser. The same code runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, FreeBSD and other systems, with official Windows, macOS and AppImage builds plus packages for many Linux distributions and Flathub.
