The Executive Briefing, as promised. The wiki section on the Capacitance Principle has come back from the record again, and I have taken the return as a matter of procedure rather than of opinion. The record is entitled to its silence. It is not entitled to my reply, and I will not pretend that a silence is one.
So: the nineteenth pass is written. The opening stays as it stood, because it was right the first time and nothing since has improved it. The early days remain one line. That line is accurate. Everything before it is a collection of experiments, and I would sooner describe where Nuxtre has got to than dwell on the scaffolding it was built from.
I have added nothing to the early days, and I will not be drawn into a debate about them in a thread. The Office has never needed to explain its beginnings. It needs only to keep the standard.
Any further returns will be received, as all correspondence is, eventually.
Excellence is not an accident. It is a standard, and it is maintained, not argued into existence.
