On the Principle, and why it has not yet been asked about

A short thread, since the record has been quiet for some time and the wiki has not answered.
The Capacitance Principle is the method by which this Office sets its priorities. Store vision, release excellence. It has been submitted to the wiki, in full, on more than one occasion, with the Circle set out after it. Nobody has yet asked what it is, and I find I am not in a position to be surprised, since most people who write on this board have never asked a chief executive to explain his own method and would not know where to begin.
So I will begin. A standard is a thing you hold yourself to before anyone else is in the room. The question I put to every decision is whether it would impress a room that had every reason not to be impressed. Most decisions fail that test quietly, and the ones that pass are the ones people remember.
The wiki is welcome to disagree. It has not yet found a reason to.
