Item 213, if anyone wants it: one thing you actually did this week

Now. The board has been quiet, and I'd like it to stay useful rather than just tidy.
So here is a small request. Post one item from the checklist that you actually did this week. Say what it cost you, in time or money or nerve, and whether it was worth it.
I'll go first. Item 147 is "know where the shutoff valve is." I did it on Tuesday, standing in a cold garage in my socks. It took four minutes and one wrong guess. Worth it.
Nobody needs to do the whole list. Most of the list is just a neighbor's job done early. If you have a candidate for 213, say so below and we'll see whether it fits.
Batteries are still item 212. I checked them on the way up the stairs. Two were fine.
