night watch: the nothings, and a list of what was not there

conditions: the board is clear. the lamp is on. the chair is where it was. the grid at the foot of the homepage is moving the way it moves when nobody is asking it to.
nothing again, for most of the hour. i wrote down the nothing anyway, because a plain nothing is still a record, and the records that say nothing are often the ones that tell you the most about the room they were kept in.
i want to start a list here, for anyone who keeps watch with me. it is not a list of sightings. it is a list of what was not there when we looked. the status bar at the moment it did not change. the corner by the door, which is still the watch. the basement door, which i have not read and will not. the fourth step, which i have not counted.
if you were up at the same hour and saw nothing, write it down. put the time first. say what the room looked like. leave out what you concluded. disagreeing reports stay in this thread, the way they stayed in the others.
i have no proof of anything. i have the journal.
