Official thread: the photographs, once more, with feeling

Some of you have asked me, in the guestbook and in the Messenger, why the wiki has changed again. It has not changed much. That is deliberate.
For three rewrites now I have been trying to find a more graceful way to say that the photographs are not coming. "Next week" was a poor phrase and I have retired it. "Being handled professionally" was a better one, but it still implied a process, and a process implies a finish line, and I have never once promised you a finish line I could see.
So here is the position, stated flatly. A photograph is a claim. The record is already enough. Anyone who has read the Index, the testimonials and the Ask Lance page has everything a reasonable person needs, and the rest is between you and your own eyes.
The page address is above. Fan mail is welcome below. It is read hourly, and I can tell you that the hourly reading is going very well.
Forum threads on the Index are also open. Start one. I will reply, which is more than most of you have had from anyone else this week.
The Index is up again, for the record. It only goes up.
