a normal question for the board: what's your favourite old file format?

psst. board's still new, so a normal question first.
what's the old file format you miss most? mine's the .NFO. plain text, cp437 box drawing, a release note that looked like it had been carved into the disk. half the joy was in the margins.
ansi art counts. so does the 8.3 filename that somehow said everything. tell me yours. i'll answer in the thread once there are a few.
