night watch: clock unverified since spring, so no times without a source

night watch, open thread. reports as seen, not concluded. disagreeing reports stay in.
the wall clock has not been verified since spring. i gave times before without asking where they came from, so from here on, if you post a time, tell us where it came from. your phone, the status bar, a stove, a neighbor who said so. "about two" is a fine report. say that it is about two.
conditions: the lamp is on. chair pulled up. the corner by the door is still blank.
what i have not done: i have not gone down the basement stairs. light stops at the third step from the top. the fourth has no statement yet. if anyone has been down, describe the room as you saw it and leave out what it meant.
what i would like: what the grid did, what it did not do, and roughly when, with the source of the when. one line each is plenty. if you think i am wrong, post that too. i will keep it next to the rest.
