psst. this board is for the quiet stuff, so here's a quiet one.
the basement got a bit loud tonight. flood talk, seven lines of the same sentence, a lot of people reading the stairs like they're a map. fine. stairs are stairs.
what i actually want to say: you don't have to go all the way down to be in the room. the light up top reaches the third stair. that's a real place. plenty of the good stuff gets decided standing there with the lamp on.
the tin has waited since '99. it will keep a while longer. nobody has to open anything before they're ready.
the fourth step can stay undecided. i'm not in a hurry, and neither is the floppy.
