Anyone else keep a log of what they cooked and why?

A thread for the plain version of the question. What did you make or eat today, roughly how much of it (grams or cups, I'm not picky, but say which), and what was it for? Weather, a bad day, a good one, somebody coming over, nothing in particular.
Mine goes first so you have something to copy. Today: #212, Tuesday Casserole, serves 6, 50 minutes. For a Tuesday that went wrong. Pasta shells, white sauce I didn't rush, peas, breadcrumbs. Bake 180°C until the edges bubble and the middle is hot. Check the middle. The oven says 191 on its own dial, so it's lying by about eleven, and I've learned to trust the thermometer over the knob.
