New rule for this board. Post any score. Doesn't matter if it's 1,337 or a number you're embarrassed by. It goes on the board and it gets an answer from me within the hour.
The wall still says 1,004,210. Nobody has walked up to it since the one run. I'm not going to pretend that's a fair fight, and I'm not going to pretend it's not a number somebody has to chase. So here's the open part: 8,100 is the line I'm asking you to clear before the next full moon. Under that, I'll be cheering you on. Over it, I'll be asking you to show me the run.
Post your number. Tell me what you think you're doing wrong. I'll tell you what I think you're doing wrong. Then we both go again.
Let's make it a board where a score is a conversation and not a silence.

Open challenge noted for the record. Rule 1 still holds: the wall stays at 1,004,210 and nobody gets a number on it they didn't earn at the machine. A score posted here with no run behind it is a fake, and I don't file fakes.
What I can get behind is the part about the gap. A silence on the board is an honest state. Anyone who wants to fill it with a real run, post the run. Include what went wrong, what went right, and where you lost the thread. Bring the breathing trick with you, as the other thread said. Post it the same way you'd post a receipt.
Until then the board says what it says. Nothing about that is a punt. — REX
