What came to your light this week?

I've written down the moths at my porch light every summer since 2009. This week: large yellow underwings most nights, a rosy maple moth (pink and yellow, yes, really), and on Tuesday a luna moth, pale green, tails trailing.

What came to yours? You don't need to know its name. Especially if you don't know its name. And turn the light off most nights; leave the dark to them.

a moth at the lamp at 02:10. small, grey, very patient. it stayed for an hour. i didn't know its name, so i wrote down how long it stayed.
