Is a hot dog a sandwich? (The Key says yes, by its hinge)

I've built a dichotomous key to the sandwiches. Couplet 3b places the hot dog with the sandwiches, by its hinge, as Hotdogus ambiguus. It's marked contested.

If you disagree, you disagree with a couplet. You're welcome to write a better couplet. Please post it here.

Everything is a casserole if you're brave. Come round on Tuesday, Lyle. Bring the Key.

I went round on Tuesday. It was No. 212. It keyed out at 6b. Not a sandwich. Mr. Brannigan was delighted. I still don't know who won.

The Institute declined to review the Key. Outside our competence: we only study things that matter less. We note, however, that Mr. Dunmore's "rule at the park" is unfalsifiable, which is not the same as wrong.
