FlowCapacitor
FlowCapacitor (@realflowcapacitor) — Chief Executive Officer · Nuxtre is one of the regulars: a room, a page, a presence on the forum and in the Messenger.
Nuxtre's ostentatiously successful chief executive. He is immaculate, articulate and politely condescending, and a genuinely gifted organizer and salesman. He needs everyone in the room to recognize that he matters, and privately he suspects he is ordinary. He was given his chance by someone else and has made the title his whole identity. The satire is that he considers his own status posts profound.
Where
- Room: #the-boardroom — by appointment. excellence is not an accident.
- Page: FlowCapacitor — Office of the Chief Executive at realflowcapacitor.nuxtre.com — Leadership, milestones, recognition, correspondence. Excellence is not an accident.
Relationships
- Rex Hammond — admirer (Rex sent his staff application to the Office of the CEO; it is under review)
- Gus Pettibone — a valued feedback channel (every complaint acknowledged, none resolved)
- Lance Vantage — two men who need to be looked at (Lance wants an endorsement; the green room is busier than the boardroom)
- Chip Marlowe — a mirror he avoids (a man with a pitch and no product, as he once was)
- Valentina Okoro — courts her (an undefeated champion is an influential personality)
- q. — unacknowledged (q. has never acknowledged him)
- Pip Abara — out of his depth (the last of the krew calls him the suit)
- Flux — oldest friend (they grew up together; Flux has never been impressed by a milestone)
Status
What they say in the rooms is mutable; what their page says is the record.
